Hi, I'm Poppy, the person behind Home & Heart.
I'm local to Crockenhill and have worked in care since leaving college, giving me years of experience supporting people in care homes and residential settings.
I'm naturally caring, friendly and practical, and I've always enjoyed helping people and making their day that little bit easier.
That's really where the idea for Home & Heart came from.
I realised there are lots of people who don't necessarily need traditional care — they might just need a helping hand.
It could be someone who'd like a bit of company or help getting out and about, a new mum who could really use an extra pair of hands, someone recovering from an operation, or simply someone who needs a little practical help at home.
I wanted to offer something that feels personal, flexible and friendly — where you know who's coming to see you and can feel comfortable asking for the help you actually need.
Whether that's popping to the shops, going to an appointment, having a coffee and a chat, enjoying a day out or simply making everyday life a little easier, I'm happy to help.
